Industry surrounding wood can be wasteful. Sometimes entire trees can be tossed aside for being slightly curved or for having knots and imperfections. Our goal is to push against the industry. In fact, we search for those odd ends and pieces—the beautiful, natural, unique—collect them, and pass them on to you for various projects.
In many cases, small scraps of wood are wasted because they don't seem useful. One of our main goals at Waste Not is finding these scraps and transforming them into beautiful products—shelves, coasters, woodcut letters, and more.
Using every part of a tree is just the beginning when it comes to saving trees. We love trees, and we want to help others see their value. Our mission is to spread awareness of common wasteful wood practices and how to combat them.
